Offered in both stud-able and standard configuration, the AW730 features a directional tread with contoured sipes and a silica-based tread compound.

Winter Performance

This stud-less winter tire contains a soft rubber compound. As the temperature drops, the treads stiffen to provide optimal grip. Treads that are too stiff in cold weather are more likely to slip and treads that are too soft will wear quicker. Being a Winter Performance tire, the treads are designed to stiffen properly for high performance vehicles that need ultimate control and grip in snow/ice. In addition, this tire has sides and grooves that increase snow traction and allow the tread blocks to flex while braking.
