Best Tires for Ford F-150

Shopping for Wheels & Tires

Whether you haul, tow, or just cruise in your F-150, the right tires make all the difference. From budget-friendly highway options to aggressive off-road beasts, we’ve rounded up the best picks for every kind of driver — and every kind of road.

If you know and love trucks, you already know about the full-size F-150 Ford pickup. It’s one of the best-selling American pickups, and it’s been in production for over 40 years. The latest 2026 F-150 features 8 different trim packages from the XL base to the famous King Ranch. The main differences between these models are engine type and towing capacity, but trim packages also influence wheel and tire size.

Whether you have a newer F-150 or an older model, Tire Agent can help you get back on the road with a new set of tires suited for how you drive your truck. Our tire matching tool makes it easy to search for tires guaranteed to fit your vehicle’s trim package. Once you’ve entered your F-150 details, you can narrow your search down to specific brands and tread types.

We’ve pulled together a list of a few great choices we want to highlight for Ford F-150 trucks. These options are the best of the best for Ford F-150s and will have your back for thousands of miles. Let’s check out some of the best tires for your Ford F-150 truck.

Best Overall All-Terrain Ford F-150 Tires

A Milestar Patagonia x/t tire from the front-side view, not installed on a wheel.

Milestar Patagonia X/T

Starts around $261.95 per tire*

Warranty: 40,000-mile warranty**

Notable: On- and off-road performance and lots of extra off-road features with excellent value

The best F-150 tire will balance on-road comfort with off-road performance, and that’s exactly what the Patagonia XT aims to do. With a 3-ply sidewall designed to resist scratches, cuts, and impacts, it’s a reliable, rugged choice for tough offroading. On the road, the tire features a variable pitch tread designed to keep the tire quiet and staggered step-down tread grooves that increase tread block rigidity for better grip. It’s a rugged terrain tire that’s a great all-around choice with a mid-range price point.

A black Open Country A/T tire on a black matte finished rim.

Toyo Open Country A/T III

Starts around $322.26 per tire*

Warranty: 65,000-mile warranty**

Notable: Great warranty package, off-road grip, improved wet road performance

Among the more premium all-terrain options on our list, the Open Country A/T III is an all-season, all-terrain tire designed for a longer life and better off-road performance. Designed for off-road use without neglecting on-road handling and comfort, this is an all-around excellent choice for just about any condition. It comes with a new, improved tread compound that’s designed to handle and brake better on wet roads for an A/T tire (although A/S touring tires are still better on pavement). It also has wide, large tread blocks designed to enhance traction off-road and is 3PMS qualified for severe snowy conditions. It’s a higher price point than our other choice, but definitely worth it for any F-150.

Best Aggressive Ford F-150 Tire

Nitto Ridge Grappler

Starts around $309 per tire*

Warranty: N/A

Notable: Off-roading capability with rocky/mud terrain in mind.

Forget the road — we’re talking about the most aggressive tire on our list: The Nitto Ridge Grappler. If you’re strictly looking for off-road capability in your F-150 tires, this should be one of your top choices. It has Z-shaped grooves specifically designed for clearing mud out of the tire and stone ejectors that prevent rocks and small pebbles from getting stuck between the treads. It has shoulder lugs designed to have gripping edges along the sidewall for better traction in the toughest, most uneven terrain. Like many tires specifically designed for off-roading, it typically doesn’t come with treadwear warranties.

Best All-Terrain Ford F-150 Tire

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T

Starts around $311.19 per tire*

Warranty: 60,000-mile warranty**

Notable: All-terrain features and great all-weather performance (especially snow!)

The Baja Boss A/T by Mickey Thompson is an all-season, all-terrain tire designed to be one of the best all-terrain tires on the market. With a range of sizes available, it’s a great off-roading choice for any larger or lifted F-150 model. The asymmetric tread design provides off-road traction and all-weather performance, while the reinforced sidewalls maximize this tire’s durability. It has a severe weather 3PMS rating for winter weather and a puncture-resistant design (no tire is puncture-proof), which makes it an all-around great choice for all terrain.

Best Budget Ford F-150 Tire

A front side view of a General Grabber HT tire mounted on a chrome finished GT rim.

General Grabber H/T

Starts around $221.99 per tire*

Warranty: 70,000-mile warranty**

Notable: Great price and extended treadlife with a focus on on-road performance.

Looking for a budget option for your F-150? The Grabber H/T is a highway touring all-season tire that’s more of an on-road choice for your pickup. With this comes an impressive treadwear warranty that reflects this tire’s longevity. It achieves this with General’s trademarked Duragen tread technology designed to be strong, durable, and stable on the road. It’s a solid bang-for-your-buck tire that can outlast many of its competitors.

Best All-Weather Ford F-150 Tire

A front side view of a Yokohama Geolander CV tire mounted on a matte chrome finished rim.

Yokohama Geolander CV 4S

Starts around $245.99 per tire*

Warranty: 60,000-mile warranty**

Notable: Enhanced wet road performance and better snow/ice traction

The Geolander CV 4S is an all-season, all-weather tire designed for driving on the road in confidence year-round. While it’s not designed for off-roading, the asymmetric tread design aims to improve wet and snowy traction while still offering excellent handling in warmer temperatures. The sipes come with biting edges designed to give you traction in snow and ice, while the zig-zag groove design reduces your chances of hydroplaning. This tire also comes with a 3PMS rating.

Best Ford F-150 Snow Tire

A right front view of a Nokian Hakkapeliita 10 SUV tire mounted on a five-spoke chrome rim.

Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV

Starts around $245.99 per tire*

Warranty: N/A

Notable: Extreme snowy weather design with some of the best winter performance for a non-studded winter tire.

For the heaviest snow and harshest winters, we have the well-known Hakkapeliitta tire, a non-studded winter tire perfect for F-150s that face long months of freezing temperatures. Some of this tire’s winter features include microscopic “arctic grip crystals” embedded in the rubber that function similarly to built-in studs (see Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV for a winter studded tire), as well as reinforced sidewalls and a tread compound designed to stay flexible in freezing temps. This tire comes with a 3PMS rating that helps assure its handling in winter weather.
